I’m a proud mum of two almost-grown-up boys, and we live in a quiet town in sunny Queensland, Australia. Here’s a cool picture of our family having a great time together!
In the past, my kids and I shared many amazing moments watching fun TV shows and reading some of the coolest books you can imagine. I even taught virtues at their school, and we had a blast together!
We all have hidden gems within us, just waiting to be discovered. Can you think of the gems hiding inside you? Here are a few to get you started: wisdom, beauty, empathy, kindness, love, courage, integrity, and many more! These gems make us happy and help spread peace and happiness all around us.
That’s one reason why I am passionate about writing books! I used to teach at a university, but now I’m part of an awesome charity organization that serves amazing people. And, of course, I write books too! My stories are full of magic, adventure, and meaning—perfect for young readers!
When I was growing up, I felt like I had to choose between boring books for learning or stories that were fun. But why can’t we have both? That’s why I created my first series about four fearless friends who always find themselves in the middle of interesting and sometimes strange adventures. The gems inside them help them conquer their fears and save the day!
